Duties
Provide technical and architectural leadership for .NET Framework, Microsoft Azure and Amazon cloud development techniques. Implement web-based technologies using, but not limited to, .NET MVC, WCF, REST web services, C#, Angular JS, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS3.
- Lead technical design sessions with the development teams — class models, sequence diagrams, component models and detailed design specifications — ensuring architecture standards are followed
- Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches so architectural solutions form a coherent systems design
- Provide expert knowledge of application architecture to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of technology strategy, standards, roadmaps and practices
- Work with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs and strategies and anticipate future business and technology needs
- Review and approve third-party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy
- Work with Performance Engineering and the Web/Infrastructure teams to define the deployment architecture
- Mentor technical leads and developers
Requirements
MS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, IS or a closely related field and 1 year of experience in .NET application development, or a BS or foreign equivalent in the above and relevant progressive experience.
